Can't read SD card

I wonder if any forum member has come across this problem:

I have gone back to MCR 1.7 because of touchscreen and wifi issues with flb-mod 1.0. But though all installation went fine and the phone works, it cannot see the SD card. I can't seem to view the SD card using file manager (EStrong) or load data to it. However, the SD card clearly works as I flashed the ROM from it and with Recovery I can connect through USB. I think A2SD works as I have 91Mb free space on internal phone storage.

Any clues?
