Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Moving to software section......NOW ;)
Guest Gorskar Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 In compatability it says sendo Z100, (which ran unsigned stuff, but was pulled from production) so atm I have to assume it is unsigned.
Guest Lojt Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Hasn't it been available for a while?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Only the demo afaik, and no, i don't think it is signed.
Guest Steve_Medin Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 If Handango posts a product with any reference to the Windows Powered Smartphone 2002, you can be 100% confident that it is signed code and will run on the SPV. Handango is completely aware of the codesigning process, they have staff that are specifically familiar with the SPV's requirements.

Guest Steve_Medin Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Such a doubter. Handango cannot risk their reputation by contributing to the distribution of unsigned software that only works on hacked phones. They don't say it because they don't NEED to say it.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Sorry for the mistake, i was under the impression the demo was unsigned and the full version was...
Guest Steve_Medin Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 If that was the case, owners of unhacked SPVs would never buy the product because the trial would fail.
Guest Emad Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 JabberCE was released on Handango originally with a proviso that it only worked on unlocked phones :)
Guest crimminsky Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 turjah demo was unsigned, we all started playing it AFTER we de-certed the phone. previously we got the message "this is not orange certified blah blah blah...."
