Guest Paul Gillingwater Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Sorry if this is pinned somewhere (I couldn't find it.) I've successfully updated to r5, and everything seems fine -- except that some apps are not showing up in the Android Market. For example, I can't search for Skype, or Google Voice. I can however see both paid and protected apps (which are showing in Euros, since I am based in Continental Europe), for example I can see Dr Droid. Perhaps unrelated -- I am able to get tethering via Wi-Fi working just fine with my MacBook Pro, but Bluetooth just doesn't want to know -- and it also doesn't want to transfer files to/from my MacBook. I recall there was a nice utility to switch the Market country -- can someone send me a link for the .apk for this please? Finally, a small nit -- when using Google Navigate, it works great, except that the bluetooth session activation takes around half a second -- which chops off the first chunk of the speech coming from the nice lady telling me where to turn. Anyone got any ideas about how to improve this? (Google Navigate should allow an option to include a small delay or chime before the instruction.)
