Hi all !

:(

I started to make this mod on the "Official Froyo HTC Sense 1.0C ROM" on my Desire and I think I should release it for everyone who use different ROM.

With this MOD I resolved bluetooth disconnection problem with my CarKit... it's a common problem of Android 2.1 & 2.2

After this MOD I have more free ram (~20MB), better battery life and more mflops on linpak test (~2)...

Yes! Phone it's fully working! Without Bluetooth CarKit disconnections end with more free RAM :(

      why 2 "etc" folder in the zip file?

      i think "etc" should inside "system" folder?

20 MB more of free ram, I still have to try with my Parrot ck3100. Tonight I'll post my expirience with the handsfree kit.

Is only a patched audio.conf for bluetooth settings where MaxConnections was set to 3 and Sink and Control was disabled. That's it!

Try it! Now bluetooth it's fully working!!! :(

Audio Sink and Remote Control... but even if it's disabled... it's fully working... :(

Installation aborted.

Well tried it myself, havin the same error

usin a port of AmonRas recovery, i know it cant flash unsigned updates, so thats the nature of this error.

OK, i signed the zip file, flashed it succesfully, heres a link to the signed file...

Tested with parrot ck3100 and works perfectly.

I have used rom manager with clockwork recovery to apply the patch.

Well, i didnt try it with a bluetooth headset but can confirm it rly does free up 20 more MBs of ram and adding 2.0 mflops pts on linpack...

You can use BluetoothGR-Generic_Froyo_Recovery.zip :(

Today I have done other bluetooth carkit testing... it's perfect!!!

Installed fine for me. I didn't check the memory before, so I couldn't tell you if that worked. I will try bluetooth in the car later. Let's just say that bluetooth was choppy before, so if it works I will be chuffed.

It's a froyo (2.2) rom ora eclair (2.1) rom? I did this MOD for eclair too...

If it's froyo you can use it... otherwise I must upload generic eclair version...
