Android 2.2 still getting update notification

I have a rooted Nexus One (FRF50) running Froyo however a few weeks back, I got a notification that the software update (2.2) has been downloaded and ready to be installed.. But when I install and reboot, I get to the fastboot page.. How do I get rid of the notification?

You goto settings and then about an then update an then untick
