Guest vinokirk Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 (edited) I awoke this morning to find my phone has totally reset itself! I am really peed off this has happened. I cannot deal with a phone that doesn't work on 3G (albeit due to rebelsim), let alone deal with one that totally resets itself randomly. Had this've been Sunday morning when I am NEED the phones sat nav to get me to Birmingham then I wouldve been very late due to reinstalling Co-Pilot etc! Last night I did a couple of thigs to my phone before I went to bed -Downloaded+Installed Mobile Signal Widget 0.3 and added the widget to my homescreen. -I had already downloaded an earthquake widget a few wks ago, but last night i put the widget on my homescreen, Earthquake! -downloaded+ installed a fishing game, Fishin 2 go lite -downloaded and installed another game, Doodle Chain 2 -Uploaded 1.08 GB of 'Season 1 of Big Bang Theory' to my SD card times in about a second, like d-d-d-d-d-d-d-ding. If you know what I mean. Has anyone had this heppen to them? Could anyone tell me why this has happened? Just before I went to bed my message tone went off like 10 times in a row, but not in a row. It went off 10 times in about a second, like d-d-d-d-d-d-d-ding. If you know what I mean. And i had a notification in my taksk bar with the number 20 in a red circle on it, like i had got 20 messages or 20 app updates or something. Now, my phone hasnt just reset itself and thats it...oh no. Its now comming up with errors left right and chealsea. The error is 'The application EMList (process com.oem.engineeringmode.emlist) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again'. I have had USB debugging enabled for about a month now if that helps anyone Edited July 23, 2010 by vinokirk

Guest popetodd Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Here's what you do: Reflash it with the stock rom using flashboot, reinstall your apps and don't mess with it any more. If you need reliable then you need to NOT flash experimental roms and play with root.

Guest vinokirk Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 I have managed to get it working again using nandroid back up and trying the different backups i have. Its weird how this problem manifested itself in the first place :-/
