Guest timbomfg Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Little problem for y'all. If i try to scroll in the marketplace whilst holding the device in portrait mode, i can't scroll through more than about 20 apps or so, even if my search says 100s found. If i turn the device into landscape mode, it works fine and i can scroll all the way down. Any ideas?
Guest Chaz_UK Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 My guess is that it is rendering too many apps when in portrait: I'll use the Nexus One and Dell Streak to compare. When in portrait the Streak looks like this compared to my Nexus: At the bottom of the Nexus's screen you can see 6 apps fully displayed and one faded. On the Streak you can see 10 apps and a gap at the bottom. Put the Streak into landscape and this happens: 6 apps displayed with room to scroll for 4 more. As the streak is showing more than 10 apps in portrait, there is no more data to load and it will not scroll. This is my guess anyway! :(
