I think LCR removes them on boot now, but what causes them?

When I read the logs, they are actually reporting kernel panics from a kernel I was running two week ago.

I get this on Xian and the logs doesn't get removed. I guess android is still unstable and that might be why it's causing kernel panic. Or there are still a lot of bugs with both builds.

The files being generated are NOT kernel panic conditions caused by the current boot. At least not for my phone. The timestamps don't correspond to when the phone was actually booted.

Weird. Now they are .gz files

Edit: On a kernel with compcache enabled, they are apanic...txt.gz

But the phone works file :??

Hello,

Got them when I was on LCR 1.6 and I mounted Phhroyo 50, then, when I restored a nandroid I had kernel panic on 1.6

Malez replyied to me telling I had memory corruption, but I cannot say if kernel panic are the same .

BTW Lcr 1.7.3 is NOT wiping kernel panic but only logs in Root : Data/DxDrm, and is supposed to do this at every reboot.

Now I tryed but no effect, even with Gscript, then controlled ......

Now I have LCR 1.7.3 , had some days ago Phhroyo 91 and I restored a previous version of 1.7 ( patch 2 I think ? ) and then patched with 1.7.3. Again Kernel panic in my SD

Maybe I missed a dalvik cache wipe at some point ?

Regards
