Drowned my samsung omnia 2

Hello all, on vacation I went swimming at ' Pamukalle' in Turkey a special place but I had my Omnia 2 in my swimming-pants and went in the water. The water contained 'Lime'. So I think my omnia 2 wll suffer corrossion.

It happend last week, still only the 'Samsung Omnia II' screen appears, also vibrates and than it hangs there.

Please anyone help me :(

Take it apart and use a wet tooth brush to lightly try and remove any corrosion you see. let it dry fully, put it back together, cross your fingers..

ive brought two i910s back from the dead like this. no guaratees but its your best shot.

I'm sorry to hear about your phone! Maybe you can declare it at your insurance?

Optional: Make high quality pictures of the inside (so i can read the different chips, preferably under the shields) and sent them to me. You'll support the android on omnia II project ! (altough I don't really need the pictures anymore, they always can come in handy.

My phone has turned on today, everything is just like normal, no dataloss but I need to clean it since I "doped" it in lime(kalk)water in Pamukale(Lime water palace), Turkey =,="

My dad is going to try to get a new omnia 2 from my insurance.

Do you think that Samsung would let me choose another Samsung mobile?

I am going to open it up tomorrow which is July 28.
