[THEME] Blue S v1.6 for Android 2.1[10/08/2010]

OK, so after starting with the frameworks it seemed this is the next logical step :P This is still a work in progress so if there are ideas about other details that can be themed have your say.

This theme changes some of the system apps so it's important to do a NANDROID backup before you try this out.

Blue S v1.6

Changes v1.6:

Fixed green send button in Mms.apk

Slightly themed Gallery.apk

Framework modifications

IMOPRTANT:

Resized the apps to take less space which is useful to people running the UK update

*Apps not resized and still taking a big amount of space are Phone.apk, Settings.apk and Contacts.apk

This version will come in two flashable zips, one will be the full theme WITHOUT the Contacts, Phone and Settings and the second one a addon that features those three apps for those that have space in system to install them

TouchPal.apk now themed (never-mind the glitches in the pic, DDMS is craaaaazy)

framework-res.apk optimizations, now looks closer to Galaxy S

some small changes to Contacts.apk and Vending.apk

A few more changes: changed a few icons, notification dropdown elements and a few green leftovers

Some framework modification so now it fits the Galaxy S framework even more, but still no green elements to be found :(

Dan requested some things be blue and not green like in the original framework, and how can you say no to Dan :( So here it is, just the framework with blue progress bar and check-boxes:

OK, so after starting with the frameworks it seemed this is the next logical step :( I'm trying to bring all the important .apk's in sync color wise so the theme looks all nice and cozy. Till now I have the Contacts, Calendar and a small modification to Phone, so there is still a few to go.

The problem is that I should pack the framework-res and all the system apps in a flash-able .zip but I had problems with this so some help would be nice :(

You mean the widget right? I just checked it out, it seems all the color stuff is in xml, so not my area :( Maybe ogiogi can collaborate, if we ask him nicely :(

Suppose it'll be ready by tomorrow. I should change the Power Control widget and the File Explorer and after that just check if it can be all packed in a nice flash-able zip (kindly provided by ogiogi:)). So not much work left. Cheers!

Well it was in the xml's but i had to decompile the app to see the colors.xml in values so that i can edit it...... (boring stuff) 1 hour later the pink is gone :(

The MediaFire link was a bit iffy I think, but I think I fixed it now. I don't think the extra FLB flash did anything, I only need to fix settings (which is OK cos I wiped earlier and haven't put the settings back!)

On a theme-ish note, and there is a lot,

The word "Notifications" in the drop down is black on black.

In market when you highlight the browse whatever ("Browse Sports" for one), the highlight is yellow.

I don't like piling it on, but I feel that I must, wether its fixable or not, at least you know the non-blue things.

The big spinner is blue, but the small one should be fixed in the next version (probably the framework I'll upload will have this).

The notification is just a small touch (if you talking about the one down, that looks like a bump map:)), but I'll try too blue it up.

Well I AM lazy B) But it's all fixable :D The T-Mobile bit looks OK with the default font, it has sort of a bump map in the background to look cool but I'll remove it cause of the font frenzy that has taken over most of the users :P

I'll upload 1.3b later today (mostly just because of the market) and it will have the green elements, the all blue theme will be in a jiffy :P
