Gallery FC - why?

ok...I'd like to release r3 of my custom rom but therefore I want the gallery app working again.

Currently in my rom, the gallery app is just crashing. The thumbnails aren't working (showing just a triangle and exclamation mark) and when I click on them, the gallery crashes. I already did a wipe of data/cache/dalvik cache with no result.

Any idea what could cause the trouble?

have you wiped the thumbnails from the SD card? The errors in the logs seem to indicate some issues with thumbnails so clear the folders and it may work. Should be the android folder I believe.

I even have wiped and repartioned the complete sd and then reflashing my image.

You could try B&B Gallery as an alternative, I've been using it its really good :(
