It's not the WM ROM that affect battery themost, but the RADIO ROM/part, check this http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...-at-the-moment/

For WM part, choose any ROM you like and then apply battery enhancement like in this : http://www.modaco.com/content/forum/302812...ry-enhancement/

Last, of course, your daily usage, if you tend to use internet, GPS and make calls a lot, or can't stop listening radio/music from Omnia, or using Bluetooth all the time then it's better to buy spare battery. :(

Spot on!

With the ROM, though they don't have a huge impact there are some.

WM 6.1 ROM from what I gather seems to be better with battery life.

In terms of WM 6.5.x and above... I found that titanium is better than M2D in battery life but it is a trade off for looks and functionality.

EVERY "clean/naked" rom, EVERY "UltraLite" rom, is very good for battery life. BUT! The trick is... the combination of rom/RADIO! Radio (phone) is a serious matter for battery life.

You must flash some and find out yourself.

That I'm using now (23563 build, "UltraLite", OCK) is FINE for battery life, combined with XBIC1 radio.

It`s real that wm 6.5 is eating much battery over 1 day.Period.

But... of course it does!!!!!!! WinMo 6.5.x have SUPERB graphics/effects, comparing with the "poor" 6.1! So, naturally, the 6.5s needs more battery.
