Rooted with Malez but can't SU or adb remount

Hi,

I used Malez recovery img to root my liquid e and I've also used it to check to see if it's rooted (it says it is) but I can't do remount on adb or get SU.

However I did manage to push wavesecure as a system app through update.zip inside malez. So what gives? Anyone know?

I tried all the methods of rooting 1.1, 1 and 2 as well.

I'm using the stock Rogers ROM. I don't really want to flash to a different rom at the moment.
