HELP - a quick FW question

Is there a way to backup my PDA/PHONE/CSC ROM files?

If not, does someone have the CSC file named I9000OXXJF5, or a link to a place I could get it? (is this one Western Europe as well?)

I have aready found the other two, PDA: I9000XWJFB and PHONE: I9000XXJF5.

But I cant find the CSC: I9000OXXJF5 anywhere...

I want to be able to restore to these originals if I need to.

Why does everybody says "my firmware is" and state just ONE name, like JFB, if there are 3 different things/versions to consider?

Like mine, which is PDA WXJFB and at the same time MODEM XXJF5.

And there is also SCS. Mine is OXXJF5.

Please, someone explain that to me.

I still don't know if I should say I have JFB or JF5.

They are stating the firmware version they downloaded.

That firmware they download might contain an older version of the csc or radio though etc.

But basically they are referring to the "pda/phone" which is the main firmware.

modem is the baseband/radio

I already read a lot of this, including the one you pointed me, but still have some doubts. I always read a lot before asking.

I'm not crying.

I just thought it wouldn't hurt to post a question that to my understanding is perfectly acceptable and probably is a matter of some confusion to many people.

Oh... ok.... That makes sense!

So the PDA is the main firmware. I didn't know that.

(I'm assuming you meant PDA/CODE is the main fw, and MODEM and CSC are secondary)
