HTC Desire Rooted, issue

Hi all,

Firstly, I'm new to rooting/hacking the Android OS. First Android phone.

I followed a guide on Whirlpool - http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1495099

I've a Telstra HTC Desire, installed the MoDaCo TelstraMod2 r3 and I've been stuck on this HTC loading screen. White background, green text (HTC, quietly brilliant). I've now left it for 1.2hrs and it's still doing the same thing (flashing/rebooting?).

I also left the battery out for a good 4-5 hours, with no difference. The battery has lost power now, so it's on charge while it continually goes to this loading screen.

I have backups, but hoping I can get past this loading screen. What do I do?

Anyone else had this happen?

Edit: Rooted using unrevoked3 and used Clockwork Mod.

One thing I haven't done is format the SD card (don't want to use A2SD) nor have I done a full wipe. Apparently you don't need to?

One thing, I cant seem to boot into the recovery thing with unrevoked now. Holding down the Power+Vol. Down.

Edit: Nevermind, recovery issue sorted. Cleared cache, will see how it goes
