Guest kayceejayh Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 Hello. I've got a rooted and booted Orange UK Desire here - and the 3G / HSDPA data with newer radio seems very twitchy indeed, so I may keep the ROM but switch the Radio (Baseband) to the one Orange supplied, but I've got no idea what that is! So could any of you with a stock, unrooted Orange UK tell me the EXACT version number of your Baseband. To find this youu do Menu -> Settings -> About Phone -> Software Information. Thanks Kip
Guest xenos123 Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 I'm on the default still and it's not brilliant tbh. Was recently in Glasgow and it couldn't make its mind up long enough to actually download any data, going between G 3G and 3G+ a hell of a lot. Anybody on Orange found better?
Guest kayceejayh Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 Cheers for doing that - :( are the Orange Phones still on 1.15 or up to 1.22 ?
Guest tone-fu Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 This wouldn't have any relation to the other reported problems on Orange would it? Which are, supposedly, caused by their merger with T-Mobile. There's been a lot of reported 3G problems, calls and texts dropping etc.
Guest xenos123 Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Cheers for doing that - :( are the Orange Phones still on 1.15 or up to 1.22 ? 1.15 here :(
