Guest yang123 Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 (edited) Hello, Could Malez, xian, phhusson or any brother help to extract the XT9 from 1.100.15 (Chinese rom) if you are free ? Since I would like to use the Chinese input method of the XT9 in LCR, I tried to extract the apk alone but not working. Thanks a lot for your help. yang Edited August 3, 2010 by yang123
Guest xaueious Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Just install the X10 one: http://android.modaco.com/content-page/300...method/page/20/
Guest yang123 Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 (edited) thanks xaeuious. I have found a method to put Chinese XT9 into EMEA rom. If you already have XT9 installed in your phone, you just need to replace the system/usr/xt9 folder with AAP rom same folder. Then, reboot. I have attached the XT9 folder extracted from 1.100.09 AAP if anyone need. It works in LCR 1.8 with 1.100.39 rom. http://www.multiupload.com/7PIRCUZ99C Edited August 3, 2010 by yang123

Guest yang123 Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 For me, inputing Chinese I prefer "Cedime" I dunno why my finger always press a wrong key with Cedime keyboard layout so I use XT9 (It has stoke built-in too).

Oh~That's totally opposite to me :D I change to Cedime's reason is because XT9 keyboard size is too small for me :D And Cedime can adjust the keyboard size too :)

Guest yang123 Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 can I use malez recovery to flash this zip into my liquid no, this zip is not a update file. sorry, I dunno any auto update method. you need to use root explorer to delete the system/usr/xt9 folder and replace the files from this zip. (just like copy and paste in windows) make a nandroid backup if you are not sure.
