Guest Quick84 Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Maybe it's because I want another reason to like the Desire Rom even more but, is it just me or are the colors a lot brighter and much more vivid in the Desire ROM? I know it's the same screen, and all that, and like I said it's probably just a mental thing, but It's hard to look past as I look at my screen. Thoughts?
Guest bedwa Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 a small bit, but I think it's primarily the sense wallpaper as well. It's just flashier....
Guest Quick84 Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 It even seems to be different in pictures too... Like I said, it's very possible that I'm crazy and just WANT to see another reason to stay with the Desire Rom... lol!
Guest ushim6 Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 You might be crazy. Color gamut has not been changed, as far as I know. CyanogenMod 6.0 is just now adding gamut hacks by SurfaceFlinger to balance color levels.

I noticed the same thing, i think its to do with the auto brightness levels on stock ROM... when i was using it, I increased the brightness a little and over rode the auto setting
Guest bedwa Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 It could be a difference in the calibration settings as well. I've been running with this as well. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=745248
