I've had my Streak since launch date in the UK and I really like it but.....

My wife just got an X10 mini which is tiny compared to most phones never mind the Streak.

After having a play around with the X10 I find the Dell interface really shoddy and nowhere near as polished.

Don't know if its just the honeymoon period being over or the crap customer experience I had trying to buy the premium wallet but I've started to think about selling my Streak and getting the Droid X.

Bordering on getting gadget fever all over again...Are they even out in the UK yet?

Perhaps I'll wait until 2.2 comes out for the Streak.

Wait for 2.2. Then get a windows phone 7 phone for Christmas :)

Definately wanting WP7 on the streak. Depending on what phones it comes out on, if it comes on a phone with a 5 incher ill be selling my Streak!

Going through a similar thing myself !

This year has (for me ) has seen an iPhone 3GS , T-mobile pulse , HTC HD2 , HTC Desire, back to the 3GS , then onto a Dell Streak

In some ways I absolutely LOVE the streak , I like Android , and I love the large screen / Form factor - People alway rant on about small phones ,but the fact is my ear and mouth are always the same distance apart. And my eyes aren't the best , so a bigger devices always please me (always championed the Communicators , HTC Universal & Advantage )

But the thing I just can't seem to get past is the RELIABILITY of the iPhone - the Streak is my best buddy 99% of the time , but every now and again , someone will ask me for a phone number , or I'll want to take a photo , or I'll get an incoming call , and the Streak will simply be unresponsive !! (not that this happens a LOT , but it does happen, and you an guarantee that when it does it will be an important time.

You just DON"T GET THAT with the iPhone !!! I hate to sound like a fanboi , and TBH I REALLY wanted to migrate away from the iPhone , because everyone I meet has one now (including children and old ladies !! ) but I have found myself back on the 3GS now , with a view to selling the Streak and getting an iPhone 4.

That said , I really do want to hold of until 2.1/2 . ... Just to see.

Not really sure what you find in the x10 interface thats so good. I personally think its vile beyond belief and completely sluggish and annoying. Sure the dell isnt the best, but much of that is android 1.6 rather than Dell.

Id like Sense and android 2.2 on the streak, but thats not happening yet. Give it a few months and it will probably happen somehow. It will be like a new phone then!

Frankly most people seem beside themselves with joy over the Desire 2.2 upgrade even though the difference from 2.1 is minimal, so a move to 2.1/2.2 on the streak must be a revelation!

i'd wait.. my streak pisses me off alot during the day but just wait. software updates will fix the random laggs, camera taking a year to start up and most other problems.

It was the X10 mini interface I liked its real snappy I've played with its big brother the x10 and that is nasty
