Lithium Music Player

I had to share this here since it's something that was bothering me for ages, the volume in every single music player I tried was too low. Now finally something to blast my ears open (well, compared to the other players at least) :)

Lithium Music Player: http://www.androlib.com/android.applicatio...ayer-jqjBi.aspx

It has some flaws, by default it sorts all songs by name and the 4x1 widget is all buggy but the 4x2 one is awesome and the player has an volume amplifier.

I was wondering if there is a way to implement this for the Pulse by default, the volume amplification I mean, the player is a paid app. Cheers!

I found another good player called MusicGo but that also sorts music by name :)

I'll give it a go. Does it also have sound amplification?

Also the lock-screen widget on Lithium is amazing!

MusicGo is not bad, though a bit too colorful for my taste :) Still sticking with Lithium, but if you're going for a free app MusicGo is solid and it wouldn't be a mistake. I also never tried Cube player but people say it's solid as well.

Oh, and one more thing about Lithium that I love, you can change the color of the controls, so if you switch themes you can set the color accordingly (green for Espresso, blue for Blue S, cyan for Cyan and so on.), the small touch that makes a ton of difference :D

Anyone has some other music players to suggest? Cheers!

MortPlayer. sorts by folders. no other fancy options as EQ or amp but nuff for me to be able to play songs in my own order :)

Decided to try the Lithium player over the weekend.

Can safely say I won't be using anything else from now on!!

Great feature to volume boost too, I can hear my music over the drone of the train & people now! :D

The Audio Boost doesn't appear to do anything on the pulse - Mini.

However it is a very nice media player well worth the small amount it costs in my opinion.

Edit:

The Audio Boost does actually make a difference.

Love the fact you can control it when the phone is locked

When I've found lithium I stopped searching for players. Has some quirks, but the audio boost is godsend! Power to the people!

I <3 volume booost.....but I have a problem. The 2,5mm-3,5mm jack adapter bug. It always starts playing music by it's own and unlike other players I can't disable it in autostarts, since it's not listed. Any ideas?

"Louder Volume Hack" now works for Pulse, too. Then you can use this with a player of your choice. I have it installed, but I still haven't got a chance to play a little with it...
