Re-installation of Acer original rom

Hi all,

Did I miss something, or is it impossible to re-install an official acer rom, after a flash of acer' s latest one (1.100.09), and "upgrade" of LCR1.8 (or any other 2.1 custom based on official rom)?

I have done all as before needed (I think) :

Unable to reflash the original 1.100.09, (the device version is unknow, then no way to flash) with its exe file, I did a nandroid restore to LCR1.7. But still no possible downgrade.

Then i used the acer tool 3.1 again, with the 2.000.5, debugg mode activated or not, it runs AMSS start...and...nothing else. I need to remove the battery to reboot.

There' s a bin file (latest leaked android 2.1 one) but not tryed yet.

Could you please help me with this issue, is it my hardware or do you have the same problem? I have flashed a lot of time, but now I m lost...

PS : Having already a 2.1 rom I did not try with the official 1.6, going back to donut to get back eclair working again isn t funny, like my explanation...:D

And sorry if there s another topic for this, but i ve not seen any yet.

Cheers :)

Have you tried installing 1.100.39EMEA?

Thanks for your reply, the flash failed as described. I don t understand why...

EDIT:

Finally it seems to be able to flash again, with the file' s link you sent, but i had to unplugg then plug again, during the "not connected" status. it is a bit hard to explain, but it seems ok now with unplugging. I guess it was my liquid drivers getting tired, like me :)

Thanks ! :D

All you gotta do is find the Acer Tool v3.1 then you can choose whatever .bin file you want to update to your rom.

I live in Canada and I am running the US Build because the Canadian one is full of Rogers apps that I don't want.

P.S. After reinstalling the stock rom you can use Universal Androot to root the phone and make it capable of OTA updates.

The best way is flash it to donut 1.6 then go back to eclair.
