Hi,

I have a T-mob HTC desire. I de-branded it, did an OTA update. I forgot to do the radio update before, the OTA update.

Froyo got installed properly -- but the sim does not get recognized :D .

How do I update this /roll it back and start again.

I am on Hboot 0.92

microp-031d

radio: 5.09.00.20

Android 2.2

Baseband version: 32.43.00.32U_5.09.00.20

Kernel: 2.6.32.15-gf9c0527

build: 2.09.405.8

software: 2.09.405.8

brower: webkit 3.1

RUU_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.21.405.2_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126984_sign

d.exe fails as the hboot version on the phone is newer.

I guess, I will have to wipe all -- but am a newbie -- so full detailed instructions will be needed :) .

Thanks to all who reply.

You will need to apply the OTA again, should be possible, I'm just not sure how.

Maybe take the zip out the OTA, rename it to PB99IMG.zip put it on the root of your SD card, it should then put the Radio etc on.

The above is assuming you have lost root already

If you still have root you can just flash the radio zip that is linked to in a few posts.

Even after all that, your baseband is 32.43.00.32U_5.09.00.2

Meaning you do have the new radio, you may need to look for other causes of the no sim issue.

HI -- tried that gain -- but same issue.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Do you get a SIM or Network lock screen?

If so you need to unlock the phone as no amount of retrying the update will work.
