I can only see interface changes actually.

You still get thrown to the website some times and there's still no chat function...

When it goes to the web browser it uses the touch version now.

Plus there is something like picture timeline now.

And the notification bar.

There's also a new facebook contact sync function in app-settings.

Don't find it that useful though...

i am starting to be real pissed for buying pulse instead of spica :-/ old 1.5 is getting old and is no longer supported by many apps... and 2.1 is very buggy on pulse :)

I've calmed down a little since then.. As long as I stay away from the spica I'll be fine :)

PD. A friend of mine have the spica and believe me, its a hundred times more laggy then my mutant pulse (or u8220-6 for that matter)

Did anyone get the contact syncing to work after installing? For me it doesn't seem to do anything (2.1)

And yes FLB is awesome, trust me, you'll never look back

If it weren't for contact syncing all mine would be erased every time I install a new rom

Well I'm using 2.1 Hungarian update with FLB mod 1.1 at the moment and my contact sync worked okay - to a point. There are two ways of doing this.

1. If you open the app, click the facebook sign at the top. Then press the menu button (on the phone), go to settings and at the bottom you'll see an option to 'Sync Contacts', click that and you can either sync all contacts or add data to your existing contacts. The only issues I have with it is that I ended up with 302 contacts on my phone, and 95% of them were e-mail addresses, also their facebook profile pics didn't sync up with them either. It took me ages to go through my contacts to delete them all.

2. The other thing you can do (which I think is better), is hold the screen (on a blank part where you can fit an app etc.), click folders and add the 'Facebook Phonebook' to it. You'll have a little folder on the screen and when you click that it comes up with a new facebook only contacts menu that has all of the contacts with phone numbers on their profile - with their profile pics. When you click on someone it comes up with the dialer screen and you can call them from. It looks a little bit like the launcherpro plus phonebook.

If I were you though, I would definitely use the second option.

I updated my facebook before and I've also noticed a few more freeezes and forced closes than I was used to with the old one. It's better, but a bit easier to get these issues.

Ok back on topic, Facebook 1.3

I've stopped using it as the app was using a lot of battery. Reading up on this the app doesn't release partial wake lock. Read this: http://geekfor.me/news/facebook-1-3-wakelock/
