Guest Albert Poon Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 (edited) Anyone knows how to change the updating behavior of HTC Stock? I mean... what's the point of having it updating 24 hours a day? (no matter what interval). Say if I am on US market, I would like it to have updates from 09:30 to 16:00, the rest of the time please save battery, right? Assume I am a stock freak, I would like to watch over Japan > China > HK > UK > US, from Mon to Fri, and rest on Sat/Sun. A full week scheduler is more preferred than just from 5 mins to hours... Search the market for the application called Tasker. It's a paid app but the price is small for what it has to offer. You can automate all aspects of your phone based on plethora of criterions/triggers/variables. IMHO it's the most powerful and useful non-google made android app out there. Have a look at the below links at what is possible to do with it: http://lifehacker.com/5599116/how-to-turn-...ated-superphone http://lifehacker.com/5601133/push-your-au...e-tasker-setups Edited August 5, 2010 by spiry2sick

Then I wanna ask, if I manually toggle WiFi/3G Data, will the Tasker pickup and resume, or stay there until I toggle again? I ask because there are often public holidays, which I can just turn-off WiFi/3G Data and forget about the HTC Stock...
