Guest brack Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 (edited) Does anyone know repair center in Sweden that would be able to take care of T-Mobile Pulse? My insurance company would cover the phone damage under the rain but they want me to produce some papers from repair center, and wherever I called here, nobody wants to take this phone for repairs saying they "dont know this model" :) Edited August 5, 2010 by brack

Call Tre and ask them what repair center they recommend? When my previous phone got smashed up, my tre-insurance gave me a completely new phone of the same model.

I called tre the first thing, you know what they answer? lol :) :D They say they dont know the phone called T-Mobile Pulse, thus they cannot repair it :D :D Even when I told them that this phone is similar to Huawei u8220, they answered they dont know that model either :P :P :D  We had very productive conversation with very techy support guy.
Guest darkdevil1 Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) Speaking of repairing, what do you think the odds are of t-mobile fixing the little charger-plastic-cover-thingy at the top of the phone, under warranty? Mine broke off :) Oh, and my screen is slightly damaged (certain spots are less bright than others, only visable on a white screen) - not sure if I caused this or whether it was like this upon purchase.. I'd hate to send it to T-mobile and get it back along with a massive bill... Edited August 6, 2010 by darkdevil1

Means nothing gets into them. Just make sure to take lots of care, don't want crap in your USB port, do you?

Haha, retards! :D So you didn't buy it from tre then, and I thought the Pulse was exactly the same as U8220 not just similar (other than the standard OS)?

Yep, this is the same phone, well, I bought mine in Germany on ebay.de and that is another problem - insurance want to see three checks 1. purchase of original owner in Germany (which I dont have); 2. PayPal check; 3. my bank transfer to PayPal. I'm afraid that the missing 1st check can play bad role on the situation. The insurance agent told me that "maybe this phone was locked and then illegally unlocked, and then it locked itself after moisture got in :) ", looks to me that they just dont want to cover it, well, it's their job to argue the case.

Yes, because we all know that I could illegally unlock my Pulse and use it on O2, but if I get it wet, I'll need my T-Mobile sim again. Fools.
