Problem with google voice search

Hi everyone. I have a little problem with my phone. I tried to install the google voice search app from the market, but Now I have two search apps: the preinstalled 1.4.0 one and the updated 1.4.6 one. They run simultaneously if I try to search by voice. How can I remove the preinstalled one? my galaxy s is not rooted and it has the stock firmware. Thanks.
