Circle Battery on a stock odex rom?

Hi there,

I have the 2.2 stock rooted rom from here:

I want to install the circle battery mod but am unsure what files I need and what process to follow. Additionally (and this is a very noob thing to say) I think the rom I have is still odexed and therefore I am not even sure I can do ANY theme adjusting.

If someone can help I would very much appreciate it.

Someone on another forum said this is the file to use and that it would work. I have just installed it and can confirm IT DOES :-)

do you flash this as you would a update.zip?

Yes .. use the same flash process (whichever you prefer) and check out this thread at XDA

there are lots of variations, with and without coloured icons for the other stuff in your notification bar :)

Hi,

If I apply the downloaded update, it works nicelly.

But, I tried to change one of the icon by one of mine... and then, I have a bootloop...

To change it, I follow this tutorial, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=722993, retried several times.. without success.. till now.. any help welcome
