cannot boot Desire in rooting process

I could use some help...

Tried rooting my tmobile branded Htc Desire using the goldcard method everything went fine untill i finished > step1-windows install. (I saw a message pop up on my pc(win7) cannot recognize device)

I went on to the next step and proceeded to turn off the phone, startup go into Hboot usb plug and choose recovery, it boots into tmobile start circle logo and hangs.

What should i do can someone help me out?

Ps I noticed the bootloader is now 0.80 i checked before it was 0.75
