A very useful application for sharing your location in realtime with other users either mobile or on their desktop browser. It's nice to arrive home and have a cup of tea waiting right? :D

Similar / Alternative apps

Alternative apps include Live Tracker (and there are a number of 'one hit' tracking apps on the Market), however for continuous location sharing, I have found Glympse to definitely be the best! Also check out the 'Latitude' feature of Google Maps!

Suggested improvements for the next version

It would be nice to be able to enable 'cell tower only' tracking rather than always using GPS, primarily to save battery and for when tower positioning is accurate enough.

Could be a neat thing to have in the app drawer for situations like breaking down and being able to send your exact location....nice

i prefer an application called Map it! which very simple and is doing it's job great.

Been using Glympse for a week now and love it. Dropped Latitude as my standard tracker software.

Also my friends are totally satisfied using it, works well with their WinMo and iPhones.
