Guest Kiwizz Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 I want to know if its possible to remove the boot animation completely and have the console show when booting. I mentioned this in another post somewhere and a user said he had deleted the animation file, but this lead to a default boot screen, and upon removing that, a blank screen until boot was completed. There must be some way to show the boot process as is standard with linux.
Guest protocold Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 did you ever find a solution to this?
Guest monoxide.tryst Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 I would like to know this also
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 You can change it, or, you can just delet "bootanimation.zio" from "system/media" (though it does depend on your device)

Guest Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 why not just change the animation to a blank/black picture?
Guest flshg Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) Once bootanimation removed, install this on your (rooted) phone https://market.andro...nfire.livedmesg edit: Doh, realised the thread was over a a year old. Edited September 6, 2011 by flshg
