Everything except bootloader broken

Hi,

to make the long story short. I have the following problems:

- recovery mode won't start - you will see a blank/white screen and then the phone powers off

- after starting in normal mode Froyo won't come up - also a blank screen

- in bootloader menu you only see HBOOT but not USB cable ...

Is there any way to reinstall everything. Any hints are welcome.

I did as told but now the display is dark now and stays it. I hear sounds just like the system starts but the display stays dark.

I can do this flashing via usb all the time - thus there is still hope - can anybody give me advice to get the htc back to life?

Hi Guys,

thanks for the advices

I have done revoked3 and after the tool says 'Done' I still got a blank screen.

The htc has a slcd screen and I used the recovery-clockwork-2.5.0.1-bravo-slcd.img image.

Is there something be missing I have to flash too? Because I think I have scramble the htc totally with bad/old boot images the first time. I used r6-desire-root-alt method (which apperntly was too old for my display)

The files it flashed was

rcdata.img

radio.img

userdata.img

recovery.img

system.img

boot.img

hboot_8x50_0.80.0000_20100329.nb0

Any advice are welcome

Well done mate, glad to see you are back up and running.

At some stage we will probably see an SLCD option in the kitchen.....
