Hello,

I was wondering if the UK O2 Dell Streak is fully compatible with all US AT&T bands - GSM & UMTS??

Specifically can it handle 850/1900 UMTS?

Interesting, it looks like the UK model IS compatible with the T-Mobile 3g network, just not AT&T.

Good to know, AT&T suck anyway. I'd probably get better coverage on T-Mobile while visiting my family.

To be fully compatible with the USA T-Mobile 3G network it would need to have 1700MHz, and I don't see that in the UK spec?

Sorry to bring this back up, but has anyone tried a UK streak (w/ rebel sim) on At&T bands with all of them enabled in the debugger tools?

Last month I visited Chicago and Detroit. My UK O2 Streak connected to both AT&T and T Mobile.

Can't remember which bands I was connected on. I connected to T Mobile by preference, as it seemed much quicker (if that helps)

Sorry if this is misplaced, but is it normal that in my wireless settings, it has a drop down menu with three options, gsm, wcdma, and both?
