Screen is pretty much toast. Love the omnia but I guess outdated and time to move on. If not currently activated through verizon what can it still be used for? GPS? Camera etc?

What do you mean under "deactivation"? Your SIM card contract is finished? Man, that's not the end, that's a new beginning :) Why not move to another operator? Verizon is not the only one in USA. There is still so much... life in the Omnia!

You can always donate it to a less fortunate person that can't afford home phone service. It will always be able to dial 911. Did that with my last phone at an American Legion Hall.

good day.

i turned mine into a multimedia center for my girl by flashing a ultralite rom, turning off the phone in wireless manager and hiding all of the unneeded links in the start menu.

I then installed easy today launcher so she wouldnt even have to go the start menu ever.

She's been using it for 2? weeks now as a mp3 player, quick note and voice note recorder, portable movie watcher, handheld gaming center, and wifi internet surfer with no problems at all.

Shes happy so im happy

Thought Verizon was CDMA...do the i910's even have a SIM card slot? Dunno - Sprint maybe?
