Beta Streak difference

I've got a build 3562 Streak from the Congress Avenue Mile beta test and was wondering if anyone knows if there's a difference between this version and the retail version that's coming. I'm in Australia so the AT&T thing won't affect me, but what about future firmware updates?

As far as I'm aware there is no to very little difference.

I don't know about your particular beta, but the others I'm aware of happened very close to or after the UK release, and as such the UI, hardware and firmware is the same as the retail release here in the UK apart from a few particulars to your country (network types -GSM/CDMA....).

As such you should be able to receive any firmware updates. And if somehow they have blocked it for any reason just get some MoDaCo Custom ROM on the go.

I don't really see how they could somehow forcibly miss a small amount of phones in an OTA update.

Mmm true, it was released after the retail ones were out in the UK anyway I suppose, so the actual hardware should be pretty much set. The wait for Froyo is agonizing though!
