USB problems when connecting to PC

Hi All,

I bought a GT540 a couple of days ago having had windows mobile devices for years, but getting fed up with it getting increasingly bloated and clunky - compared to this Andriod seems to be a revelation!!

Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the LG software.... Bsaically, as soon as I plug the phone into the USB, my other USB devices (such as mouse and keyboard...) stop working altogether making it a little tricky to do anything!

Has anyone else encountered this or got any ideas?

PC is a Dell Precision 490 running XP SP3 if that helps at all!
