Custom battery status indicator...

Hello there!

I want to have one of those sweet custom battery indicators we find in custom roms,say for example,the sweet green battery icon with the numerical percentage in ock's custom roms,or the tiny battery icon with a numerical text percentage on top of that icon in kunachie's roms and so on. Where do I get one or any of those? Since I am not using custom roms anymore so I am looking for those to be installed seperately.

My specs:

ROM:DXID1

Type:i900

Rom class:stock

Have developer or what you might call the sdk-certs is already installed.

Hello again!

Thank you chopperthedog for trying to help and your efforts,but I am only looking for custom battery not a whole taskbar makeover stuff.

A bit of request,please don't post google search links because I ALREADY USED GOOGLE and the MODACO SEARCH ENGINE before posting,and all I found was grigoris and a few android custom taskbar which is not what I am looking for. I dont need a whole taskbar customization,I really like the default taskbar icons,the signal,sound,data state or the E or G icon. All am looking for is a custom battery icon.

Please don't tell about batti or battclock because those are not what I am looking for,and the next time if you can't resist to post a google link,the post a google search link that gave exactly the thing I am looking for not the lame i900 custom taskbar battery icon make over and shits search.

Sorry if I sounded too harsh but its really annoying when people think they are so smart and others doesnt know how to use google.

One more thing,I am using wm6.1 and I have seen custom battery icons in kunachie's and many other chefs' custom roms so dont just say its not possible in wm6.1 .

Battery taskbar icon is part of the, well, taskbar .dll (shellres.096.dll for WM 6.1 as far as I can remember)

There are differences between WM 6.1/6.5/6.5.x as far as controlling the icons. You need to edit the .dll to get battery only changes, but being such a search wizard you probably know that already.

99.9% of all taskbars modifications will have most icons replaced/ changed. Your question show lack of research. Learn how to edit a .dll file if you want a custom taskbar for WM 6.1 since there are hardly any development done for it and in all probability you won't find what you are looking for IMO

That was the thing there,I don't really want to mess around with my own dll,and the reason for posting this kind of request only here is that some kind chef will share a piece of custom dll they used during cooking their own roms maybe,because I cant think of another forum where chefs will meet together in one forum or the language will be english! Anyways thanks for the info,but I tried a wm6.5 custom dll but unfortunately it made both the start icon ugly and the cross icon, which literally minimizes stuff instead of closing,a huge ugly one! I found another one for htc from xda-developers but they made the ok button unreadable as that was for vga,I tried another one from there too but it showed bars like that of signal which I think will be my last choice if anything doesnt turnup here. But then again thank you for your efforts.

Exactly what am looking for,I think I can live with the weird start button,but the problem is that the link is invalid in my side,as

everytime I go visit it,it shows loading files for sometime and then redirect me to the mediafire homepage,it happens everytime,I guess I should try finding the bruno_taskbar.cab somewhere else.

Finally I found it,exactly what I was looking for minus the other customized buttons. Thanks again chopperthedog,atleast you are a good man who replies to the point,I like that.

Didn't have to use google for registration,thanks to the programmers,they always keep that page all the same,the first one is always username,second and third will be password and email and the rest are easy to guess. Thanks again to all of you for your help and effort.
