Its reversable, tbh I haven't tried it but others say it works.

Work just fine :) Very easy to install just like a normal app - no rebooting or anything. Option to root or unroot at the click of a button - should also work with the upcoming 2.1

Just tried this and had to root before I could unroot even though I'm already roooted ! Weird but I'm definitely unrooted now !

Is the only way of unrooting from the previous method to flash the stock rom? I think i want to use this new method of rooting for the fact it can be unrooted so easily

I just read this elsewhere and rooted my streak

It worked perfectly!

i did it this way as my primary os of win7 x64 and i couldnt get the other method to work at all (driver issue)

I need a little extra help with this, i've rooted my streak with androot and installed superuser. Thing is, i want Titanium Backup to restore market links for my backups, but i dont have sqlite. Is there any way of getting it without a custom ROM? Also, ShootMe doesnt work with this root method, is this also related to the lack of sqlite?
