Install OTA Update

So i unlocked and rooted my AT&T Nexus One awhile ago to install the pre-released version of Froyo. What do i have to do to be able to install the OTA update that keeps getting sent to my phone.

Well, I´m sorry to be the one that tell´s you but once you rooted your phone, you will not be able to install the OTA. You can try but due to the custom recovery you should have installed when rooting, the OTA will fail.

What I don´t understand is why you would want to install them?

Well i dont really want to but i would love it to stop telling me that an update is a available. Pops up non stop.

If i installed http://android.modaco.com/content/google-n...en-froyo-frf91/ would it stop?

Hello,

The only way to stop is is to say "yes" to update. Recovery will reject it with some error, reboot and It´s gone.
