Daskalos B7610 Hybrid ROM 3

This is my 3rd Hybrid ROM based on i8000 XXJF5 (thanks speedfrog for the dump)

Like my other Hybrid ROMs, this ROM is a combination of B7610 and i8000 files and drivers, to be more specific, this version is made of:

-WM Build 6.5 Build 21895.5.0.90 from i8000NXXJF5

-70% apps are of i8000

-some i8000 drivers

-B7610 6.1 Camera drivers

-Some third party apps

This is a FULL ROM

For better performance:

1. Add more ram by disabling OEM Dialer and WM Slide LockScreen

Bugs you must know:

1. Since most Samsung apps in the ROM are from i8000, some of them if not fully compatible in landscape

HOW TO INSTALL:

1. Flash with Octans Mini

2. After Flashing please don't soft reset. Let it finished configuration automatically.

I think the cube was always working, I installed a cab from i8000 on my phone and it worked. Ahem, waiting for this too.

Can't wait for this one, the Sense interface works good but it's a bit slow for me.. Hope this one is way faster!

Great rom. But found a flaw. When switching from work to life and back the phone changes the default to samsung lay out. :D

Does anyone else have this problem?

This is the only thing i came across. Almost perfect!!!!!!! :D

If I recall correctly, mode manager won't set titanium after switching. It will give just an empty screen.

What do you mean by mode manager? I can change the today settings back to windows default, but when i switch to the widged layout (with the 3 screens, looks great btw) and back to the windows default this one has set to the samsung today screen.

rom is gud but it some times shows low video memory when i open camera and rest i am testing it out.....will also try reducing or increasing pagetool currently it is 10 mb

advise/suggestion:

1. we should stop using or development in sense....as it take 10 mb.....and 20-25 mb in whole day.......it is bad for multi-taskers

2. instead can we have weather application???.... which also shows in today screen or animated open ( weather part i only like about sense nthing else)

3. easy today launcher should be must in a rom

4. always keep running imp. app ......dnt close it........it will nt allow memory loss as much

5. remove windows media...its a waste.......

6. cant we have a 6.1 rom....having all features with extra 10-15 ram..

I had a very fast crash. After a compleet flash with octans the phone asked if i wanted to change time. I said yes, and then it crashed...

but after reboot it works nicely

This rom is so great and also great apps,but it's VERYYYYYYYY slowww.

1-when you want to write a text,after pressing each letter,you have to wait about 1 second for it (also for dialing a number has the same issue)

2-sometimes my volume control disappears and I have to do a soft-reset to fix it.

3-sometimes my wireless part in samsung settings freezes and i have to close it (most of the times)

I love the sounds of camera and ring-tones and the cube.

Dask, really thx mate i got no problems so far but I installed a WP7 UI on it and it's very very fast :D.

When i saw the sense roms i was really sold but after i used some it was a bit slow. Now i tryed this rom and it runs nice and had no crashes so far. also i did the performance stuff except the overclocking.

Here is the WP7 UI cab for people who like it. Maybe it's nice to cook it in a rom :D
