Guest BigBearMDC Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 You could use a Ubuntu install (or any linux Live CD) to partition the new card and then copy the data across from your old card. Partition the SD card under any Linux distro, that's right. But I'm not sure if you can just copy symlinks. It might be better to make an image of the ext partition and apply that image on the newly formatted SD card. Otherwise you might still end up with a screwed Pulse that won't boot. But that's only necessary for the ext partition. You can just normally copy the files from the FAT partition. Best regards, BB

The apps are on the card, and the A2SD script should handle any problems, no? The only problem would be the cache - I think something has to fail, and the .apk's will live. Even better regards, Dan :)
Guest mark2410 Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 ahh so shoudnt be too problematic then, has any one actually done it successfully?

Never tried it, but should theoretically be no problem. I'm not even sure if the symlinks are stored on the SD card too, its just a possibility. @Lurve Partay Dan what's the superlative of "Best"? :D Better than the better best regards, BB
