The camera on the GT540

I had played with most features on the phone but not really the camera as I have a good stand alone one anyway. As the onboard camera has neither flash nor zoom I had pretty much ignored it.

Anyway I am sitting around in the garden and a spider pops out of a hole in the ground. Looked a good shot but I only had my phone to hand. I didn't expect much but was amazed to see this:

For a phone camera that is stunning (assuming you can see it). As a friend who owns an iPhone assured me it makes the iPhone look like a plastic toy (V3 I think).

OMG!! Glad I don't live near you with spiders coming out of the ground that look like that, LOL!! But I agree with you, I have a HTC Desire as well and the camera on this is much better clarity wise than the Desire.
