bad connection -restore old radio image ?

Hi,

I've cooked a Rom with the new radio image and flashed it, the sum works and I can make phone calls and that but connection is had. Whilst sometimes it reports better, quiet a lot of times I have no connection which sort of defies the purpose of the phone

What imcwindering is how can I resolve this? I'm thinking flashing the old radio image. But is it possible? If so can you help me out? I'm an Android. noob :/

You can flash old radio. Which version you had?

Bare in mind that the new Radio is required of Froyo to work, so you might have to downgrade if your running on Froyo to Eclair if you flash an older Radio.

Surely the new radio shoul result in loss of connection ?

It's super annoying it happens randomly in place I know signal should be strong

Im on the same boat.

Only radio I havent have problem with was original orange uk radio.

It drives me mad as people comlplain it's difficult to reach me. As soon as I unlock my phone I get few msgs about missed calls.
