Please help. Desire blank screen HBOOT 0.83

Can someone please help me. I have rooted few desire before with a gold card which was created few weeks back but recently when I tried rooting a 3G HTC Desire it failed but later I decided to just update a 3G official rom and now my screen is blank. I have tried using the method on Android forum but it does not work because I have the newer version and Hboot 0.83

I hope someone can help me because I tried nearly everything but no luck!

Maybe you have the newer Desire with the SLCD screen, and you used Unrevoked? If so, see here:
