Guest EZ44 Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 (edited) Hi, I upgraded to 2.1 on my AT&T Dell US Test Unit and for the most part everything looks good. My only real issue is that apps like Google Home Page, weather app, and others that use (or can use) GPS location based services don't work. In fact my Weather Forecast V2 Widget greys out the 'My Location' & 'My Location Auto Refresh' options and I only have 'Manual' now. The Google.com homepage lists 'Location unavailable' and the update button does nothing and Google Places always lists 'Waiting for Location' at the bottom. Oddly enough Google Maps GPS location works fine. I DO have 'Use GPS Satellites' & 'Use Assisted GPS' enabled under 'Location & Security Settings'. Is anyone else having the same issues? Is there a known setting or fix that I can apply? Thanks. UPDATE: I enabled 'Use Wireless Networks' under 'Location & Security Settings' and it seems to be working properly now. I didn't think this needed to be enabled for location based services but I guess I was wrong. Edited August 14, 2010 by EZ44

I will find out more once i take the unit out next week.
