A few questions to veterans of android and modding, Desire running Froyo with sense

Hello all,

I recently upgraded my iphone to an HTC desire and am well chuffed, along with an amazing modaco and the android community have begun putting together a phone that is truly mine,

I just have a few questions to which the answers seem to evade me despite prolonged searching of the forums... :D

Firstly I purchased my phone from o2 and I have installed a rom I baked myself which is froyo with sense, but the majority of htc software I removed. I used the unrevoked application with clockwork recovery, my questions are,

1. is it possible to have a landscape homescreen with sense? if so how? and if it is easily done with an app, which I have also tried to search for, could anyone recommend a good one?

2. is there an easy way to remove the o2 startup/shutdown screen and replace it with a modaco logo or some such?

Also, im very new to android, any recommendations of must have applications would be greatly appreciated.

Apologies to anyone who has answered these questions 100+ times before, and thanks in advance for your help :D

Hey there, not sure you will find an answer in this topic, im afraid my knowledge of other phones compatibility is weak so I can only suggest trying to find the 2.1 android rom specifically for the streak :D Also try repost this question as its own topic and the community should be able to address ur problem.
