Guest EZ44 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 (edited) Hi, I am one of the lucky people who messed up my Streak updating to 2.1. I have been working with AdamG in the IRC chatroom but haven't had any luck yet. I was wondering if anyone had any working baseband 21 (or 00) NANDROID backups they would be willing to share with me. I'm pretty much out of ideas so this would be my last ditch effort. Do Nandroid backup images even work on other units? If you do supply an image can you please tell me the version (1.6 or 2.1) and if it's a 21 or 00 baseband. [uPDATE - URGENT] I am in desperate need of a NANDROID backup of a working 00 baseband device (1.6 and/or 2.1). I's really appreciate it if someone can perform a NANDROID backup of their working 00 device and either PM me or post a link for me. This could go a long way for helping others with the same issues I am experiencing. Thanks in advance for your help. [FIXED] Thanks marra2, I was able to get my unit to boot in 1.6 using your image. I then updated to 2.1 and have a fully functional unit. :D Edited August 17, 2010 by EZ44

Guest spences10 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 I have 1.6 Nandroid's but I'm not sure if they have ever worked for me. I'm in the office at the moment [just gor here] but am happy to send you some if you still need them. In the meantime have you tried this link:? http://android.modaco.com/content-pa...oting/page/40/ Post #40 I was in real bad trouble yesterday not being able to flash form stock recovery but this semed to work. I'm a UK o2 contract owner and I am not sure if this will work on US builds Thanks.
Guest EZ44 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 How did you mess it up? In a nut shell I followed the instructions to install 2.1 on a 00 baseband and it worked fine. I then tried to root it using either Superboot or the one step process and now it's on the Dell Logo permanently. So far, numerous recovery images only gets me the black screen after choosing update (option 2).
