Problems on porting keyboard and input method

Hello all, I am a Malaysian, and a newbie here. I was been using the wwe Asia 2.1 Rom. However after I discovered the advantages of rooting, I rooted my phone and installed the custom roms, but I am too used to the keyboard that comes with Asian Rom, which is Thai cn keyboard and the HTC cime input method. I managed to extract them out of the Rom, deodexed them and put them in my /system/apps/. However I keep get force close issue on the HTC cime and cannot even type anything. Can any pros point out what I missed or what I did wrong?

By the way I using htc desire.
