Dust under the screen

I've had my Pulse for a while now, but I keep having the problem that dust comes under the screen.

I think it's dust because it wasn't there when I bought it but after putting it in my pocket without the pouch for around 2 weeks it was there.

It kinda annois me because it makes the screen harder to read.

The dust is not all over the screen but only at the right in the middle.

I've send it to T-Mobile for repair 2 times now and both times it came back without the dust.

But after some time the dust comes back making me think they didn't repair it.

Also when putting it in the pouch/case that came with the pulse it takes longer for the dust to get there but it is there after some weeks.

Does anyone have this problem or is it just my phone?

The red box in the image shows the area where the dust is, I can't make real picture because you only see the dust in the sun.

I have that problem, luckily its barely noticeable during normal use for me. Confuses me how it gets on the right hand side though, except maybe the volume keys letting it in?

I pulled one of my Pulses apart last week. Actually the PCB has two small cuts on the right side where the volume buttons are loacated. The dust could get into the phone through this two cuts. You could easily fix it though by just putting some sort of tape over those two cuts. Of course you'd have to pull your Pulse apart...

Best regards,

If I decide to open up my pulse and tape it, would that give problems?

Like that the volumebuttons dont work? (one already has problems, I think that's also due to dust under it)
