Guest hbahaie Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 (edited) After about 10 days of normal usage of my liquid and many spin between all available ROMs 1.6 (donut) through 2.2 (froyo). I flashed 1.100.09 FET rom and do malez recovery, rooting, data/cache wipe and dalvec wipe, and installed one of new froyo roms (really cannot remember). Then my liquid enters into boot looping. It boots normal and home screen appears with sd preparing in status bar, then it resets suddenly. I removed SIM and SD card, the device boots normally, I changed my SIM with another one from another provider, it works normally. So, I got the point. The 3G network of first provider (vodafone) is weak in my home and it is mostly 2G, while the second one (Etisalat) is only or almost 3G. I flashed liquid with original 1.6 emea rom that contains the option to use either 2g or 3g, and I selected use only 3g, and voila my liquid didn't crash again. I still can return it back to the store, but, I want to be sure firts that it is device defect and not as a result of rooting and several flashing. I am not wiling to fake the seller, he will not know that i have flashed my device and he is trusting me. So, can anyone tell me what is the problem, is it my error, and is there a solution. Sorry for my bad English. Edited August 18, 2010 by hbahaie

Guest hbahaie Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 Hi there :D have you overclocked your liquid? Have you tried to reinstall original acer s rom? Currently I am using the latest XaniKoud LiuquidF ROM, that is overclocked I think. Yes I reflashed the Original ROM but the same problem is present, once the phone enter a 2G area it shutdown at once, and if I open it again it will enter into restart looping.
