i have a acer liquid (non e model) with 1.002.05.EMEA_GEN1 and the root process says dont use superboot.

now looking though the forums it seems the only one i can use to root is superboot.

will this give me the recovery menu like malez?

No it doesn't. Follow this how to by malez. It installs the recovery and let's you access backups & root options.
